WHR are stoked that the 24 hour skate-athon has finally arrived, and to mark the start in style, Midlands Today will be filming the first set of skaters take off for what promises to be a gruelling day ahead (not to mention for the ref in the banana costume!). We are aiming to, as a team, continuously skate for 24hours to raise money for the brilliant Sport Relief; hoping to clock up as many laps as possible.

 

Check us out at around 6.30pm tonight on BBC1, where we’ll be earning every one of your donated dollars. We are so excited at having already smashed our target of £1000, and send a massive thank you and big derby love to all who contributed; but being very greedy roller girls, we want more, and we need you to help!
